Goodwill’s Family Strengthening and Wellness Fair

The Delaware Safety Council participated in Goodwill's Family Strengthening and Wellness Fair which took place Thursday, June 20th at the Chase Center in Wilmington, Delaware. 

Over 500 employees attended the event, each employee was encouraged to visit the vendors. The  Delaware Safety Council spoke with a number of representatives about safety in the workplace, in the home, on the highway, and in the community.

Safety programs and giveaways were provided by the Delaware Safety Council, including pencils, pens, cups, rulers as well as defensive driving rack cards and schedules. Informational flyers on CPR/First Aid and Babysitting courses were also included. 

The Delaware Safety Council networked with several organizations that were also in attendance that day such as Delaware 211, New York Life Insurance, Food Bank of Delaware, and Public Allies.
